Pushkara Movie won the best odia film award at the 71st national award ceremony. The award was presented by Droupadi Murmu to the director of the film 'Subharansu Das' and OTV Business head 'Litisha Mangat Panda' on tuesday at New Delhi. This is an honour for Odisha as it showcases states's talent on a national and international platforms.

Pushkara Movie is produced by Tarang Cine Productions and directed by the Subharansu Das in 2023. The film is based on the Odia novel - Nadabindu written by Shankar tripathy. The film is based on themes of tradition, identity and social change in rural Odisha. It is surronding by a love story rooted in a post-death ritual and features prominent Odia culture in Puri.
Pushkara movie not just won the best odia film award but it also won the heart of Odisha. The film highlighted the Odia culture and language. This has set an example for people interested in film making but due to lack of knowledge and confidence, they left before starting.
